Paint The Fence Day
Cardiff City Veterans Hub has held a ‘Paint the Fence’ day at the fans’ Memorial Garden at the stadium.
Hub members meet up regularly at the garden to carry out maintenance and prepare plots for interment. However, the ‘Paint the Fence’ project required extra hands.
Trust Board members Keith Morgan, Mike Spear, Dr Jonathan Hicks and Gareth Williams were among the 23 volunteers from City fans and the general community that answered the call for help.

In addition, to supporting the Veterans with labour, the Trust has financially supported the garden and its projects since its inception in 2012 and recently assisted the Hub and garden with purchasing PPE items to be placed in the Garden equipment container.
