Rhondda Foodbank has sent a lovely thank-you letter to Trust vice-chair David Craig following the delivery of food donated by fans and Cardiff City staff and players. We’re proud to have organised the collection before the Sheffield United game.
Theresa Thomas and Gaynor Jones wrote:
“Thank you and Cardiff City Trust and Football Club again for the donation – it is really appreciated and will be put to good use.
“We have just finished weighing the items and they filled 23 crates. The total weight of the donation is 394.35kgs. Just as an idea for you and the trust this amount would feed either 30 single parcels or 15 small family parcels.
“As you know we rely on donations and the generosity of people like yourselves so again thank you all very much and a very Merry Christmas.”
