Trust chair Tim Hartley issued the following message to members:
We would like to thank members that were able to join us on Saturday’s march which attracted more than 3,000 supporters. It was great to see so many fans coming together – for some it was the first time they had ever been involved in a demonstration which shows the strength of feeling.
The message was also clear from our most recent annual survey that our members want the Trust to play an increasing role in campaigning for a return to blue and we will do so.
We hope that Mr Tan will now take the opportunity to reflect on the fantastic turn out of supporters before the Liverpool game and return our club to blue.
The board will now be considering how we take our campaign forward.
